Huckleberry Connect
Customers skip or reschedule deliveries, or cancel their subscriptions, themselves in the chat. ALF tasks use the API of Huckleberry's Shopify app 定期購買 (Subscription).
This app helps with
Subscription requests are handled entirely in the chat. When a customer asks to skip the next delivery or move the delivery date, ALF takes the request, confirms it is the customer's own subscription, and makes the change on the spot. Operators no longer open the Subscription admin to do it for them.
ALF tasks can call the main Subscription operations. They cover checking a subscription, skipping the next delivery and undoing the skip, changing the delivery date, cycle, quantity, or address, pausing and resuming, cancelling, and sending the payment method update email. For a skip or its undo, the new delivery date can be shown to the customer before it is confirmed.
Only the logged-in customer's own subscriptions are handled. Subscriptions are looked up from the member details of the customer logged in to the store. Customers who are not logged in are asked to log in.
Your store's rules still apply. The Subscription app's general settings, such as change deadlines and the operations allowed on the customer page, also apply in the chat. When a change cannot be accepted, the customer is told why.
Recommended for
Built for stores on the ENTERPRISE plan of Huckleberry's Shopify app 定期購買 (Subscription) that routinely receive requests to skip, reschedule, or cancel. If your operators currently make these changes in the admin on the customer's behalf, this cuts both the customer's wait and your team's workload.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to use it?
The ENTERPRISE plan of the Subscription app and an API key issued in its admin (General settings > API integration). Enter the store domain and the API key in the app settings, then check them with Test connection.
Is any channel setting required?
Turn on Member hash in the channel's security settings so the customer's identity can be confirmed. If logged-in customers are identified by Channel Talk's Shopify integration, also check “The customer's memberId is the Shopify customer ID” in the app settings and save. Until both are done, requests from customers are not accepted. Test connection in the app settings shows its state.
What happens when a customer who is not logged in asks?
Their subscription cannot be identified, so they are asked to log in to the store and contact you again.
What about operations not allowed on the customer page?
Operations the Subscription app's general settings do not allow for customers are not accepted in the chat either, and the customer is told so.
Are cancellation and pause reasons recorded?
If the cancellation and pause surveys are turned on in the Subscription app, the reason the customer chooses is recorded there.
Does it work with other subscription apps?
Only with Huckleberry's Shopify app 定期購買 (Subscription) at this time.
