At our Round Table event series, we invite businesses making innovative changes in their industry to come to talk about the history and growth of their company.

Our most recent event just wrapped up and we had the wonderful opportunity to chat with Beams, a Japanese lifestyle brand.

Since 2022, Channel Talk has been working with Beams to support their customer relationship management, customer inquiries, and VIP marketing. Currently around 14,000 Japanese clients, including Beams, Bay Cruise, Union Tokyo, and LeTao, are using Channel Talk to strengthen their presence in the local Japanese market.

This special edition of our Round Table series focused on sharing stories of Korean brands entering the Japanese market and how Channel Talk can be effectively utilized to support that expansion. With a growing interest in the Japanese fashion market, many Korean companies are looking to enter into this market. We had participants from around 50 leading fashion and lifestyle companies such as Patagonia, Cream, Recto, and Coach Korea.

Representatives from companies such as Chuu, Otoro, Musinsa, and MXN Japan, who are already developing businesses in Japan, participated in the panel and gave practical tips to domestic brands who want to enter Japan. Yuichi Yamazaki, the Head of CE (Customer Engagement) of Beams, gave an eloquent speech about Beams journey and success.

Beams has expanded its scope from apparel to various fields over the past 48 years since its founding, establishing itself as Japan's representative lifestyle brand. Yuichi Yamazaki, established the headquarters in Japan and was determined to provide Beams' online customers with attention and care that's similar in quality to offline customer service. Currently, Beams is actively developing CRM marketing activities based on behavioral data collected through Channel Talk, such as customer preferences and purchasing potential of regular customers.

  • Providing practical information to participating companies through a Q&A session
